About Ryerson University

Ryerson Entrance Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Students must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for the guaranteed and renewable scholarships:
- For one to be eligible he must be currently enrolled as a full-time secondary school student ( that means he must have a least of three or more Ontario Grade 12 U/M courses, or their equivalents in other Canadian provinces or abroad, during the regular secondary school year 2021–2022.
- He must have a minimum admission average of 86% and above
- have maintained a full-time enrollment (no gaps in full-time attendance prior to the 2022-2023 regular school year)
- Be enrolling as a first-time student at a postsecondary institution
- have consistently attended a secondary school full-time.
- have filed a complete and accurate application for admission to the program for which the scholarship is being offered by September 1, 2023.
- This award is open to Canadian citizens, Canadian permanent residents, Canadian protected persons, and international students.

- Admission Average of 95%: CAD$4,000
- Admission Average of 90 – 94.99%: CAD$2,000

The International Secondary School Merit Scholarship is for you if you are an international student entering your first year of full-time study at Ryerson University with the intention of pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree program and you exhibit academic excellence, dedication to volunteer work and extracurricular activities, and leadership abilities.
THEREFORE YOU CAN APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP!
The International Secondary School Merit Scholarship is given to seven students at the entrance and is not renewable. Each student receives $5,000.
